New Capital could simply be using capital more wisely (generally speaking). Our HOV system in conjunction with buses and the park & ride lots could be used more wisely. Buses are much more flexible than rail and can this system could be vastly expanded over the years. I rode the Mexico City Metro for 40 cents. One can ride The Woodlands Express for 5 dollars (one way); this is a BIG difference! In my opinion, the inner city needs better mass transit but NOT to the suburbs. We have the “New Capital” with this dedicated HOV system. In my opinion, the New Capital show should spend some of its “capital” in this important and interesting area; “local is everything”.
